NEWSLETTERS
The Expressway Navigator is a semi-annual newsletter that includes future changes and updates about our system.
The SR 408 (East-West Expressway) expansion, which began in July 2003, will eventually extend 16 miles from Clarke Road to SR 417 (Central Florida GreeneWay) with completion expected in five years. As part of this project, all SR 408 toll plazas are being converted to Express Lanes, allowing E-PASS customers to travel through the plaza at the posted highway speed.
The Expressway Authority has initiated final design plans for State Road 414 (Maitland Boulevard Extension). The $395 million project will extend Maitland Boulevard west from U.S. Highway 441 to the city of Apopka before heading north to US 441 near County Road 437 (Plymouth-Sorrento Road).
