Completed Project: State Road 408/Valencia College Lane Frontage Road

In January 2013, the Orlando-Orange County Expressway Authority completed work on a new frontage road to improve access to and from downtown Orlando for the communities in the area of Valencia College Lane and Econlockhatchee Trail.

Completed Project: SR 408 Widening: Goldenrod Road to Chickasaw Trail

In this project, completed in January 2013, SR 408 was widened between Goldenrod Road and Chickasaw Trail from four to five lanes in each direction. This project also included new ramps at Chickasaw Trail for travel to and from downtown Orlando.

Completed Project: SR 408/SR 417 North Interchange Improvements Project

In order to reduce peak-time traffic congestion and improve regional mobility, the Orlando-Orange County Expressway Authority improved the State Road 408 (Spessard L. Holland East-West Expressway) and State Road 417 (Central Florida GreeneWay) interchange. Work on this $69.19 project was completed in March 2013.
